What is the ROPA method?
An innovative option for you
Dive into the unique experience of the ROPA Method at Origgen—an innovative option that empowers both women to take an active role in the journey to parenthood. Also known as Partner Egg Reception, this approach involves one woman providing the eggs while the other carries the pregnancy, fostering a deep sense of connection and shared experience.
Our process
How does it work?
Ovarian Stimulation and Egg Retrieval
One of the woman undergoes ovarian stimulation to produce severa eggs. Egg retrieval is performed through an outpatient procedure.
Laboratory
Fertilization
We carefully fertilize the eggs with sperm in a controlled laboratory setting using the ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) method. This precise technique allows us to inject a single sperm directly into each egg, maximizing the chances of successful fertilization.
Embryo
Culture
Development and monitoring of embryos in high-tech incubators before transfer. We have the possibility of carrying out genetic studies on embryos, using non-invasive (biopsy) tests.
Endometrial
Preparation
Preparation of the uterine lining (endometrium) in the recipient woman to optimize conditions for embryo implantation. This process may include hormonal therapies to create a receptive uterine environment for embryo implantation
Embryo
Transfer
Gentle introduction of the embryo into the uterus using a catheter at the optimal time.
